We bring the machine and the operator to your pile. Wood in. Mulch out. Leave it or we haul it.
What is mobile grinding?
Mobile grinding (also called horizontal grinding) is on-site wood grinding: a horizontal grinder and an operator come to your pile, grind it in place, and turn wood into mulch.
You are not moving full-size logs and brush to a dump before the pile shrinks. The horizontal grinder works where the debris sits. When the grind is done, you can leave the mulch on site or have it hauled off.

What does All Pro’s mobile grinding include?
Included in the service:
- Horizontal grinder and operator on your site
- On-site grinding of logs, storm debris, yard waste, and log decks
- Wood reduced to mulch in place
- Option to leave the mulch or haul it off (haul-off is extra)
- Support for clearing crews and tree crews that already have a pile ready
Why grind on site instead of hauling raw debris?
On-site horizontal grinding cuts the pile down before you move material, so you haul a denser load when you haul at all.
Benefits:
- Less volume to move — mulch packs tighter than full-size logs and brush, so haul-off takes fewer loads
- The pile shrinks where it sits — the horizontal grinder reduces the debris on your site, not after a long dump run
- Mulch you can use or move — leave it for cover and staging, or choose haul-off
- Your crew keeps working — we bring the machine and the operator; you stay on your job
Keep metal, concrete, trash, and other non-wood out of the debris pile when you can. Cleaner piles grind quicker and with no downtime.
